New Canaan Police Arrest Three, Ticket 67 during Blitz

The March 22 targeted enforcement focused on the roads in town with the most violators and accidents, police said.

 

Police during a recent one-day blitz in New Canaan made 75 stops, issuing 67 infraction summonses citing a variety of violations and making three misdemeanor arrests.

The March 22 enforcement push targeted vehicles on 10 towns roads where police see greater numbers of accidents and hear complaints about violators from other motorists, including Old Stamford, Heritage Hill and Silvermine Roads.
