A 33-year-old New Canaan woman has turned herself in on first-degree failure to appear charges stemming from her arrest last summer.
Erin Bozeth of East Avenue had been arrested in August following accusations that she stole jewelry belonging to her boyfriend’s mother. That woman had become suspicious of Bozeth when she acted nervously after two ring went “missing,” police have said, and then tracked down the ring at a pawn shop. That led to Bozeth’s arrest for third-degree larceny.
The jewelry includes a $2,500 emerald gold ring and a $350 men’s wedding band, police have said.
