Overnight Burglary Reported on Michigan Road
Homeowners awakened; resident saw intruder as he fled home, according to New Canaan Police.
Homeowners on Michigan Road called 911 at approximately 3:16am this morning after they were awakened by an intruder in their home, according to NCPD.
One of the residents reported seeing the intruder in the home before he fled through a rear door.
Police called to the scene report signs of forcible entry through a rear first floor window. Nothing was taken from the home, according to the police report, but a vehicle parked in an unattached garage was entered and a GPS was reported stolen.

The intruder is described as a male, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a stocky build.
A New Canaan Police K-9 was called to the scene for tracking and lost the scent in an area near the residence police said.
