A 42-year-old Norwalk man was arrested at 7:50 p.m. on April 17 and charged with second-degree failure to appear.
New Canaan police say they discovered that a warrant had been issued for Omar M. Sevilla's arrest when they stopped him for driving with no front plate on South Avenue. Sevilla, a Crown Avenue resident, originally had been arrested in Wilton last year and had failed to appear Nov. 20, police said.
He was held on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 18 in state Superior Court in Norwalk.
