Outdoor Seating Denied When New Canaan Man Finds Cushions Gone

How mad would you be if you went to hang out on your porch or deck or just out to the lawn and discovered your favorite outdoor seating arrangement had been stripped of its comfortable cushioning?

Well a 66-year-old  South Avenue home owner is dealing with that exact issue after reporting to New Canaan Police on Monday, July 22, that 19 seat cushions had all been stolen right off his furniture.

Police said the theft must have occurred between July 14 and July 22, when the man noticed they were gone and reported the incident to authorities. The cushions were valued at approximately $800.

An investigation is ongoing.
