When police arrived, there were three 16-year-olds, three 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old (all New Canaan residents) along with the 15-year-old resident of the house in possession of multiple opened and unopened cans of beer, said Ogrinc.

The girl was issued a juvenile referral for allowing minors to possess alcohol and failing to halt the possession of alcohol by a minor, said Ogrinc. She is scheduled to appear at juvenile court on August 22.
