Police officials say these officers are the top four of 187 candidates that took the written examination on Aug. 29. In addition to the exam, the candidates also had to pass a physical fitness test, peer interview, polygraph examination, psychological evaluation, medical examination, and background investigation.

Gulino will start his six-week field training on Feb. 22, and will be assigned to the patrol division.
