Police Investigate $672 Withdrawal from New Canaan Woman's Bank Account

The money seems to have been debited by Geico, the insurance provider, police said.

A 40-year-old Gerdes Road woman told police that $672 was drawn from her checking account by an auto insurance provider, though she has no accounts with the business.

Police are investigating the report as a larceny, according to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc of the New Canaan Police Department.
