Police are investigating the disappearance of a New Canaan man’s personal belongings after they went missing during his move from New York back to Connecticut, police said.
A South Bald Hill resident reported to New Canaan police on July 31 that some of his belongings never made it to his home after his May 18 move, said Ogrinc.
Among the missing items are BOConcept Nesting Tables, an Alpaca shag rug, one mens suit, two shirts, two J. Crew sweaters and one pair of Alden Tassel loafers valued at approximately $3,000, said Ogrinc.
The moving company involved was Star City Moving, however, Ogrinc says the incident is still being investigated, police said.
