Police Nab Three Men For January Robbery
Warrant arrests charge each with first-degree robbery.
New Canaan Police on Saturday announced the arrest by warrant of two town men and a resident of Fairfield in connection with a robbery on Jan. 25.
Thomas Sarantos, 22, of 57 Millport Ave., and Joel L. Anderson, 22, of 186 Lakeview Ave., of New Canaan, and Mark D. Hoyt, 22, of 82 Sunrise Ave., Fairfield, are charged with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.
In a news release, police say the three were taken into custody without incident transported to police headquarters.

Each is being held in lieu of $250,000. They are scheduled to appear in court March 15.
Police did not provide any details about the robbery.
