Police: New Canaan Youth Leader had Sexual Relationship with Teen

A New Canaan youth group leader was arrested Friday after turning herself over to police following a warrant being issued for her arrest on charges that she was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 15-year-old.

According to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc, 25-year-old Morgan V. Frawley, of 272 Soundview Avenue in Fairfield, was arrested Friday, October 25, after being notified of the warrant.

New Canaan Police had received on April 23, 2013, a report from the Department of Children and Families that Frawley, a youth leader at the Congregational Church of New Canaan, was having a relationship of a sexual nature with a male youth, Ogrinc said. An investigation into the allegations determined Frawley and the youth were, in fact, involved in a sexual relationship, Ogrinc said.
