New Canaan Police: Woman Died Following Self-Inflicted Injuries
Police responded to a 911 call late Thursday morning.
A 46-year-old woman died Thursday following self-inflicted injuries sustained when she fell downtown, according to police.
New Canaan Police Chief Leon Krolikowski said in a press release that the woman sustained head injuries after falling in a Park Street parking lot. She died at Norwalk Hospital.
Police had been notified of the incident via 911 call at 11:36 a.m. Thursday.

“There is nothing suspicious about this incident, the injuries were self-inflicted, and the investigation will be closed,” Krolikowski said.
