New Canaan police are investigating a report that prescription medication was taken from a medicine cabinet at a Benedict Hill Road home.
According to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc of the New Canaan Police Department, a 46-year-old woman at 9:54 a.m. on April 17 reported that the meds were there on March 29 and gone a few days later. The complainant said she'd gone away March 31 for a couple of days, and noticed them missing, police said.
