Resident Arrested for Drug Possession in New Jersey

New Canaan teen charged with possession of substance suspected to be cocaine.

On July 23, arrested a teenager from New Canaan along with another from New Jersey during a motor vehicle stop for allegedly possessing drugs.

Katrina Kostenko, 18, of New Canaan and Austen Adler, 19, of Watchung, N.J. were both charged with drug possession during a motor vehicle stop on the 800 block of North Avenue West in Westfield.

Kostenko was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance suspected to be cocaine, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. Adler was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, suspected to be less than 50 grams of marijuana, along with possession of drug paraphernalia. Adler was driving the vehicle and was additionally charged with driving with a revoked driver's license.
