Suspect Caught Red-Footed

A Joseph A. Bank employee has been charged with fourth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trover.

have charged 21-year-old New Canaan resident with fourth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal trover after an ongoing investigation solely pursued by a JoS. A. Bank, according to Sgt. Carol Ogrinc. Charges were pressed on May 25, at 1:08 p.m.

Ogrinc said that Trevor L. Harvey is accused of stealing items as an employee at the clothing store. Those items include black leather shoes priced at $325, four ties –three valued at $59.50 each, another at $80, one overcoat  priced at $395, a sports shirt valued at $79.50, two belts priced at $65 each, a pair of suspenders valued at $49.50. The total valued of the stolen items came to $1,237.50, according to Ogrinc.

Harvey’s court date has been set for June 7. The leather shoes were on the suspect’s feet when he was confronted about the theft, and so far they have been the only items recovered, according to police.
