17-Year-Old Charged With Serving Minors

Police have charged a 17-year-old New Canaan youth with providing alcoholic beverages to underage kids at a June 4 party. Sgt. She said some were standing out front with beer in their hands, and the officers could see kids inside the house holding beer cans. Police were told there were no parents or adults at the home.

Officers seized beer and hard alcohol, including Jose Cuervo tequila, from the premises. Police collected the names of the 60 remaining partygoers who had not fled. The youths were between 16- and 18-years-old. Police interviewed some of the kids at the scene and then conducted an investigation.
