The Accident Report—Week of Feb. 15
Police logged four car accidents in the past week, none with injuries.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS:
All four accidents recorded during the past week occurred within a 21-hour period, when New Canaan also experienced some snow and ice:
- Feb. 16 at 9:49 a.m. on Main Street near Harrison Avenue
- Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. on Laurel Road
- Feb. 16 at 11:05 p.m. on Ponus Ridge Road near Frogtown Road; a 20-year-old driver slid off the road and hit a tree in icy conditions
- Feb. 17 at 6:56 a.m. on Main Street near St. John's Place
No one was injured in any of the incidents.
