Tools Stolen from Garage of Summer Street Home

Some time in February or early March, tools were stolen from the garage of a home on Summer Street.

Two tools valued at a total of $575 were reported stolen from the garage of a 52-year-old man on Summer Street, New Canaan police were told on Wednesday, March 5.

The victim told police he had last seen the tools three or four weeks before in the garage, which is detached from his house. There was no sign of forced entry into the garage.

Stolen were a Stihl brand chain saw valued at $300 and an Echo hedge trimmer valued at $275.
