A pair of small dogs roaming on the north side of town made their ways home, separately, after getting out, police said.
At 4:48 p.m. on Feb. 14, two Boston terriers from 77 Amy’s Lane were spotted roaming in town, according to Officer Mary Ann Kleinschmitt of the New Canaan Police Department’s animal control unit.
One of the dogs came back home on its own, the other was found about one mile away, near the intersection of Canoe Hill and Smith Ridge Roads (see map at right).
Both dogs were vaccinated and licensed, police said.
