Vandal Cuts Propane Hose from a Gas Grill

Typical vandalism: Done for unknown reasons by an unknown person hurting someone else.

For some unknown reason, someone sliced through the hose on a propane gas grill in the back yard of a Harrison Avenue home, police were told.

The complainant, a 47-year-old man, said he believes the vandalism occurred sometime before June 3, and he recalled using the gas grill on May 24.

The man said he had no idea who might have done such a thing. As a result of the damage, all the propane gas leaked out.

The cost of the hose is $15, and the gas cost the same amount to replace, for a total of $30.
