Vandalism at NCHS: 3-Inch Scratch Keyed into 18-Year-Old's New Mercedes

New Canaan police are investigating a larceny as well as a report of vandalism at the high school last week.

At 1:36 p.m. on April 17, an 18-year-old student reported that her 2013 C-class Mercedes had been keyed, police said. The car, parked in a lot at the high school, had an approximately 3-inch mark, according to the teen's complaint.

The day before, April 16, a 16-year-old male student at NCHS told police that his wallet had gone missing and when he got it back, $100 had been removed.

According to police, the teen left his wallet on a table in the cafeteria for just a few minutes while he went to a men's room. The wallet had gone missing and later was returned with everything intact except the missing $100, Ogrinc said.
