Vandalism on Morse Court

"Magic Marker" graffiti, driving with a suspended license twice, K9 Zira involved in a traffic stop and a family dispute in this week's police blotter.

Morse Court Vandalism

The Darien owner of a building on Morse Court reported to police that vandals had written on the wall of his building with what appeared to be magic marker, at 12:44pm on Oct. 17. The police report said "OG", the word slim and a three-pointed crown were written on the side of the building. The estimate to cover the graffiti was $100.

A car stopped by police on Clapboard Hill Road near Silvermine Road was reported going above the posted speed limit. K9 Zira, who was with the officers on the scene, did an exterior search and according to the police report, indicated the presence of the odor of drugs. A satchel containing two containers indicating trace amounts of marijuana and a glass pipe, were reportedly found in the center console of the car. Jordan Lutsky, 26 of Greenwich, was given an infraction for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Family Dispute

A woman came to the NCPD on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9:10pm to speak with officers about an incident that she said occurred on Friday, Oct. 22 in the evening. According to the police report, she told officers that on that night she and her husband had a heated verbal argument, which became "a little physical." The husband, a 40-year-old resident of Farm Road, was charged with disorderly conduct, according to police. He was released on the promise to appear. He was due in court yesterday.

Operating Under Suspension, Twice

Two warrants were served on Oct. 18 at 4:40pm stemming from two separate instances of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, according to police.

Jennifer Piccerillo, 38 of Lakeview Avenue, was served with a warrant for failure to appear on June 1, 2011 relating to a misdemeanor charge, second degree, of operating under suspension on Oct. 23, 2010.

The second warrant concerned an additional charge of failure to appear on Oct. 11, 2011 in connection with an arrest for operating under suspension on Sept. 1, 2011, police said, also a second degree misdemeanor.

Bond for the first incident was $5000, while bond for the second was $500. She posted bond and is now scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 1.
