Seriously, were the streets that empty in front of the jewelry store that when the robbers were sledge hammering the front window display case and from what I hear took 7 swings to make a hole in the glass that nobody was watching this and thought to take a video with their phones or to even try to trip one of them or grab one? I never herd of a gun involved? strange how they just vanished once they ran back to the lot. I think the police should have 2 foot patrol cops walking town every day because of this. God forbid there were guns and had been shootings. If I were there watching this happen, I as a mostly fearless idiot would probably tried to grab, trip or ran after the perps, as long as I didn't see a gun.

You would trip and get in the way of two big guys-not one, but two-with a sledge hammer? Over a watch? Does anyone remember the story about the greenwich woman shot in norwalk super stop n shop parking lot over her purse? They never caught that guy...
