Weed Street Teens Caught with Alcohol

New Canaan police dropped in on a party after a noise complaint.

 

Police issued an infraction to a New Canaan girl after they arrived to her residence on Weed Street and several underage individuals were found to be in close proximity to alcohol, said Sgt. Carol Ogrinc. 

After getting a noise complaint from a Windrow Lane residence, police arrived at a Weed Street home, from which they could hear loud music playing, and saw multiple people around beer cans and liquor bottles, said Ogrinc.

No one was of legal drinking age and the 18-year-old girl who lived at the residence was issued an infraction for permitting minors to possess alcohol, said Ogrinc. 

The teens would not divulge who purchased the alcohol, said Ogrinc.
