A New Canaan woman turned herself into police on August 8 after learning of a warrant for her arrest for her alleged involvement in the destruction of her husband’s property, police said.

Kathryn S. Brindisi, 44, was found to be in connection with the July 12 incident in which her husband arrived at his home, which he told police he’d locked, to find a broken mirror ($2,000), broken picture frames ($80), a broken lantern ($80), but nothing missing, said Sgt. Carol Ogrinc.

The 50-year-old Hickok Road resident told police that he found out from family members that his wife had been to his home, where she no longer resides, in order to retrieve some documents as she still had a key, said Ogrinc.

Brindisi was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief, said Ogrinc, and appeared in court August 9. She posted her $2,500 bond.
