New Canaan Democrats to Select 2012 – 2014 DTC Members
On Thursday, January 12, 2012, New Canaan's Democrats will convene to select the members of the 2012 – 2014 Democratic Town Committee (DTC). The meeting will take place at Town Hall, and begin at 7:30 p.m. All registered Democrats residing in New Canaan are encouraged to attend and participate.
The DTC promotes the Democratic Party and its candidates and educates voters about issues facing all levels of government. Members of the DTC serve two year terms. They help nominate appointees to town boards and commissions, help select candidates for the ballot, and work to educate and mobilize voters.
