The New Canaan League of Women Voters is holding an open forum on "The Future of Waveny Park: Understanding the Decision-Making Process," on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Lamb Room, New Canaan Library.
Speakers include: Park & Recreation Commission Chairman Scott Gress, Town Councilman and Park & Recreation Subcommittee Chairman Steve Karl, Conservation Commission member Susan Sweitzer, and Planning & Zoning Commission Chairman Lazlo Papp.
Topics include how completing proposals for park use are managed, rules governing decision-making for town land and its use, and how the town obtains residents' input on decisions regarding use of Waveny Park land.
