New Canaan Finishing Up Summer Cleaning As Season's End Nears

With August's arrival, more and more families around New Canaan are enjoying the fleeting days of summer and taking their vacations—but not the town government.

First Selectman Robert Mallozzi III sat down with New Canaan Patch to talk about all the projects going on during the summer months to make the town more beautiful as summer dwindles and families return home.

"We've been doing a lot of major infrastructure projects during these summer months," Mallozzi said. ""These are important projects we've been doing around town that we hope people will notice and find their town that much more beautiful."

From road re-pavings, refurbishing the fire department floors for mold issues and train station repairs, Mallozzi said New Canaan public works have been busy and he hopes the residents notice. Check out his full commentary in the video above.
