The recently approved roof repair projects for the , the and the in Waveny Park totaling an estimated $1.3 million.
The approved bonding for the projects last month. The roofing projects will be will be overseen by the Department of Public Works.
The is expected to consider the request for funding at its meeting scheduled for Oct. 19.
In a recent report in the New Canaan Advertiser, First Selectman Jeb Walker said the projects are covered in the and pointed out that the town can take advantage of super low rates on municipal bonding at this time.
Providing the Town Council approves the bonding, the projects will likely begin next spring or summer and will be completed by the fall.
