Only three come to mind-Elm Street Oyster House in Greenwich, The Whelk in Westport, and Rowayton Seafood in Norwalk.

The Greek Seafood Plate at Kouzina with steamers, Greek salad, and lobster on a toasted pita with a light, lemony dill tzataiki sauce is quite yummy! Don't miss it this summer!

There is no 'seafood' restaurant in New Canaan. However, Chef Luis does an amazing scallop dish. a sea bass, blackened tuna, and a salmon that are all amazing. Elm Restaurant serves a halibut with peaches that is absolutely wonderful.

NC could use a great new england seafood place.. something in the mold of Pearl Oyster Bar in NY. As is stands, the "seafood" restaurants in the surrounding towns are mostly terrible... with Rowayton Seafood at least having a nice view to save it from total mediocrity. Would agree with Stella Bella that Chef Luis and Elm both do a good job with certain seafood dishes. I would also recommend Harvest Supper... they have a great chowder and they sometimes do a fantastic cod dish.

Carpe Diem in New Canaan has wonderful seafood dishes on their menu...and everything there is so fresh. The outdoor dining is nice and sunny till late afternoon. The owners have created a beautiful garden atmosphere with fresh flowers abound, soft music and attentive waitstaff. An enjoyable and relaxing dining experience!

Surprisingly enough the seafood at The Tuscan takes the cake for me. fantastic offerings coupled with a fun atmosphere that is hard to beat anywhere in Fairfield county. my vote is in for The Tuscan!
