"Fraud & Scams" - What you don't know CAN hurt you!

On Wednesday, April 11 from 4 to 5:30 p.m., New Canaan Inn invites guests to a “Safe-Tea” tea and discussion on the topic of “Fraud & Scams: What you don’t know can hurt you!

The Inn – an affiliate of Waveny Care Center, the New Canaan Police Department, People’s United Bank and the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) have combined efforts to develop this program in an effort to inform the community of this important and relevant topic.

Special guest speakers, Lieutenant Vincent DeMaio, Commander of Investigations for the New Canaan Police Department and Angela DeLeon, Crime Prevention Specialist with People’s United Bank, will help guests to identify and understand common scams that can lead to financial exploitation, identity theft or other fraudulent activities.

Tea and refreshments will be available from 4 p.m. until a prompt 4:15 p.m. program start.
