Lecture Series with David Dunlop—Look Back to Move Forward

At the lecture, David Dunlop will talk on how artists have been inspired from ancient and foreign sources to find modern ideas. The session will also look at the arts of different eras and cultures and show how they are retrofitted to contemporary artists. The lecture will also provide insight on how ancient mythologies, exotic cultures and lost societies shape the imagination and give contemporary artists a new language with a new set of tools.
