High school students ready to model
On Saturday, April 3, 44 boys and 48 girls, all seniors at New Canaan High School, will be modeling prom and collegiate-wear fashions during their annual prom fashion show at 7 p.m. in the school’s auditorium. This year’s theme is “Project Runway.”
The theme is mirroring the popular TV reality show, which means that there will be a segment featuring three New Canaan High School’s girl’s dress designs. The formal wear fashions to be modeled are courtesy of A Step Ahead in Stamford and Camillos Tuxedos Specialists. All collegiate-wear is from Rugby, Togs, True Blue and Athletic Shoe Factory in New Canaan, and Snappy Gator in Fairfield. Cherry Street Salon will be styling the girl’s hair; make-up will be by Benefit.
Senior emcees are Graham Bradley, Jack Atchue, Julia Harvey, Brooke Turpin, Elbeek Abasov, and Chris Rama. Tickets are $15 students/$20 at the door and $50 per family.
