The Nonpoint Education for Municipal Officials (NEMO) Commissioner training workshop will focus on the roles and responsibilities of Land Use Commissions. Roles include examining the duties, options and interactions of local land use commissions, including planning, zoning, appeals, conservation, inland wetlands and economic development. The program is sponsored by the Planning and Zoning Department of New Canaan and presented by the University of Connecticut.
