Remembering One Relay

Kids Helping Kids, Inc. is holding its second annual "Remembering One Relay" one-mile race at the New Canaan High School track on Friday, June 18th at 5:30 p.m., with all proceeds benefitting New Beginnings Homeless Services at St. Luke's Life Works in Stamford. 

St. Luke's LifeWorks is a non-profit organization that provides learning opportunities, housing and support services to people overcoming homelessness in lower Fairfield County. 

Tickets to participate in the race are $15 in advance, and $20 the day of the race and all ages are welcome to participate.  Each relay team will be made up of four people.  Participants may bring their own team or join a team at the race.  In addition, there will be music, food, beverages and fun for people of all ages.  Tickets can be purchased at the New Canaan New Balance Store at 128 Main Street in New Canaan, or the Athlete's Foot Store at either 2359 Summer Street or 1097 High Ridge Road, both in Stamford.

Kids Helping Kids was founded in New Canaan in 2009 with a mission of gathering children together on a regular basis to make a difference in the world by helping others.  Interested parties can find out more information or make a donation to Kids Helping Kids through the organizations website, www.ctkidshelpingkids.org.
