The Superintendent Search Committee wishes to announce the scheduling of several focus groups to enable various constituencies to raise issues, offer praise, note concerns, and provide feedback that will help inform the work of the Board and Committee as it seeks to
A very important early first step in this process is to identify the most important characteristics we will need and be looking for in our new superintendent. We are inviting the various stakeholders and constituencies to attend the appropriate focus group to share their insights and help us define the desired qualities of our next leader.
To provide your input, we invite individuals to meet with the consultant at one of the forums listed below:

ONLINE SURVEY
The Superintendent Search Committee also seeks your ideas via an Online Survey. We urge teachers, parents, administrators, students, non-certified employees, and community members to respond to the online survey that will be available via a link on the New Canaan Public Schools web site from January 9 through January 13. Please take a few minutes to increase our understanding of your views and the groups you represent. All this information will be compiled into a report that will help inform the work of the Search Committee and Board of Education in selecting our next superintendent.
