New Canaan, CT, March 28, 2013 – Village Critter Outfitter is hosting an adoption event this week at its store geared to anyone that is looking to adopt a pet from a local rescue group. On Saturday April 6th, For the Animals Rescue, will be visiting.

For the Animals, Inc., is a Connecticut based, non-profit pet rescue saving animals at the eleventh hour of kill shelters, rehabilitates them and finds forever happy homes for them.


“We welcome and recognize the good work that For the Animals Rescue does for these animals. They really make a difference by spending extra time rehabilitating so that their next home is a permanent home.”, explained Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. “Adopting one of these homeless animals and/or giving a donation for such a worthy cause is a rewarding experience.
