Village Critter Outfitter is pleased to recognize a very special time—Pet Appreciation Week!
We know you LOVE your pet so in addition to some ideas you might already have to celebrate this special week, we've added some things that we know they would love, too.
Some ideas that we might suggest:
- Take your dog on a special outing—go for a nice, relaxing stroll through a nearby park or a beach. Go some place different.
- New toys! Just like humans, dogs, cats and birds do appreciate something new to play with from time to time; and this could be the perfect week to add a little more excitement in their lives by purchasing more fun toys for them to play with. Summertime toys are the craze right now - frisbees and water toys that float and are durable!
- Treat your pet to an extra special edible treat. Whether you have a dog, a cat, or a bird, a rabbit or ginea pig, it doesn’t matter; everyone can get tired of eating the same thing every day, wouldn’t you? So, how about some Kitty Caviar for your kitty, a scrumptous bone to chew on for your pup (great to clean teeth), and different flavored treats or hay for the small animals. Birds might like some unsalted seeds mixed into some peanut-butter for healthy, delicious snack.
- Time. Your pets just want to spend time with you! You are the center of their universe. Let's celebrate the special relationship we share with our critters.
