Young Women's League of New Canaan Kicks Of 16th Annual Holiday Market

The Young Women's League of New Canaan, Inc, will be kicking off it's 16th annual Holiday Market beginning Wednesday evening with a Preview Party followed by a full day of shopping Thursday. 

The Holiday Market will be coming to the Waveny House Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m. and Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The YWLNC promises "[t]his festive holiday shopping event is a wonderful prelude to the holiday season and this year’s market will be unlike any other!"

"It is a fabulous event, and a wonderful opportunity to 'shop for a cause' and get into the holiday spirit," said Nicole Cribbins, prsiednt of the YWLNC. "All net proceeds will towards helping local children in need."

This year's theme for the Holiday Market is Help a Child, Change a Community.

The Preview Party Wednesday night will include a "Taste of New Canaan," with local restaurant specialties and a wine tasting bar featured among the shopping, entertainment, appetizers and cocktails.

Market Day on Thursday is expected to be "bustling with holiday shoppers," as many local vendors will be returning this year, including "The Pink Mink, Just Over the Top (JOTT), Flamenco, Kiki Girl Shop, B Draddy, gingerbitz and Shell Stories," to name of few highlights. The full vendor list is available at the YWLNC website.

Tickets run $55 at the door for the Preview Party and are good through Thursday as well, while tickets for Market Day specifically are $10.
