New Canaan, Conn. – 360 Fitness Studio will host a special event Tuesday night, Sept. 25 from 7pm - 8:30pm at 45 Grove Street in New Canaan. In conjunction with popular workout maverick AKT InMotion, Fall Dance Party 2012 will feature renowned fitness instructor Anna Kaiser.

Kaiser will personally teach this high-energy, 90-minute AKT session that’s the fitness equivalent to happy hour -- hot, sexy, and fun with major benefits. Attendees will pair a choreographed combination of cardio, flexibility and strength training with heart-pumping music, for a comprehensive workout that keeps the body toned and energized for days. No physical requirement or past dance experience is needed to enjoy the party -- just an open mind and a willingness to break a major sweat.

After class, attendees – who are paying $50 apiece for the event -- will be served fresh juice from Green and Tonic, as well as champagne.

“From a decade in the fitness industry, I identified a flaw in dance-based workout techniques,” says Kaiser. “Clients were developing impressive curves, but they weren't being given tools to protect, strengthen and improve their bodies over time. By combining my favorite elements from my professional dance background -- great music, high-energy and a can-do-it attitude -- with my expertise in functional anatomy, I created what I believe to be the ultimate workout.”

AKT is cardio, strength training, toning and stretching all packed into one ultra high-energy session. But it’s also no-holds-barred, results-oriented fun. By focusing on proprioception (body awareness) and kinesiology (the scientific study of human movement), AKT engages the body as a whole, instead of as an assortment of problem parts. Classes are different every time, to keep the body challenged and engaged. AKT teaches muscles to work together for a longer, leaner, healthier and far happier body.

“This is going to be an amazing event,” says Steve Bazewicz, owner of 360 Fitness Studio. “It will surely open the eyes of participants, with respect to a new, unique type of workout they’ll experience and the level of energy and strength they’ll develop because of it. Anna’s an amazing instructor and we’re privileged to have her co-host this event with us.”

Adds Kaiser: “I never give people a good sweat and then say goodbye. It's about encouraging them to get results, and providing the knowledge to make sure those results last.”

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Where DIDN'T you learn to write?? Jane Himmel May 22, 2013 at 01:27 pm "This has CONVINCED MYRead More GROWING CONVICTION that Patch has moved complete..."

I just called Staples. This is really disturbing to me. If I don't get a satisfactory answer, IRead More will let people know and I will also decide whether to continue shopping there. I do not like to give my money to unethical businesses.

This has convinced my growing conviction that Patch has moved completely away from any pretense ofRead More being a news source and is simply an electronic bulletin board. By abandoning their prior procedure of approving posts before they go up, they are letting anything go on and then taking them down if they're reported. By then, it's too late: the poster has gotten their message across during the time it's in the lineup. I only check in with Patch occasionally now and so many people in town won't read it at all anymore. I think we need to be honest with ourselves about what kind of a public forum this venue is. This doesn't reflect well on Staples if they are using subterfuge and violating Terms of Use on Patch either.

Tom, the tree warden doesn't just "put in trees and take them down" just like that. ThereRead More is a reason behind every tree that has come down or gone up. Whats with this town and trees anyway? It seems like a huge source of controversy...they are TREES.

if they had done it at night at least it wouldn't have been smudged. BUT, i happen to think itsRead More nice, and especially with the flags hanging. we forget we are a small new england town, and small things like the red white and blue stripes remind me that we still are! :)
