Canadiens send underachieving Max Pacioretty to minors.
The Montreal Canadiens are hoping a demotion to the minor leagues will put a spark in underachieving left-winger and New Canaan native Max Pacioretty.
While the Habs were chartering south Sunday morning to Florida, Pacioretty was organizing himself to get to Hamilton. He's expected to be in the lineup Wednesday when the American Hockey League club travels to Rockford, IL, to take on the Ice Hogs.
