After a 10-day layoff, the girls hockey team returns to action on Monday when the Rams host Trumbull-Staples at the Darien Ice Rink (1:40 p.m.)

The Rams (6-0) have been off since defeating Springfield Cathedral (Mass.) 9-4 on Dec. 22.

Olivia Hompe is the Rams' leading scorer, averaging more than four points per game with 19 goals and nine assists for 28 points.

Holly Berwick has 17 points on five goals and 12 assists and Corbett Riley 10 points with seven goals and three assists.

Trumbull-Staples (1-3) is coming off its first win of the season, an 8-4 victory over West Haven on Friday.
