Rams Swimmers Stretch for Third in FCIACs

Christian Higgins turns on his record-breaking breast stroke.

With an All-American on the squad, a good finish at the FCIAC Swimming Championship was definitely a possibility for the Rams. But not even they were expecting to finish third.

"We really just got it done in the water," said New Canaan head coach Jason Paige.

The top finisher for the Rams was Christian Higgins, who finished first in the 100 yard breaststroke with an automatic All-American qualifying time of 57.71 and second in the 200 IM with a time of 1:54.26. Also taking home first was the 200 Medley Relay team, which Higgins was a part of.
