Seacoast Online: New Canaanite Opens Up Four-Shot Lead at Seacoast Am

Can anyone catch Will Delano? That's the storyline entering the Seacoast Amateur Golf Championship's final round.

Delano, who recently completed his freshman year at Colgate, grabbed sole possession of the lead by shooting a 2-under par 70 at Rochester Country Club on Saturday. His two-day total of 141 gives him a four-shot lead entering today's final round at Abenaqui Country Club.

Delano is a bit of a mystery man. He lives in New Canaan, Conn., but spends summers in Kittery Point, Maine, and is a member at the York Golf and Tennis Club. This is the first time he's participated in the Seacoast Am. He had never played Rochester before Saturday and left the course immediately after turning in his scorecard...
