St. Luke’s Chapter of Kids Helping Kids helped collect 778 books for a taking library at Stamford’s Yerwood Center. The effort, called Launching Libraries, was lead by Gabriella Finley of Stamford, and Emma Tregellas of New Canaan. Both girls are in eigth grade at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan.
The books collected at St. Luke’s were part of a larger Kids helping Kids CT effort spanning 20 different schools and organizations. A total of 15,000 gently used books will help create a resource for families who would like to build their own home libraries. Learn more at www.kidshelpingkidsct.org
