NCHS's Julianne Reilly Wins 3rd Place in Community Service Essay Contest

This second annual VolunteerSquare-Patch Community Service High School Essay contest has been a wonderful celebration of giving back and of the terrific teens who shared their stories of volunteerism with us.

We continue that celebration today by announcing our three winners.

First: Absolutely each and every student who entered this open contest deserves special recognition. We thank you not only for the very meaningful work you’re doing in our communities, but for taking the time to talk about what community service means to you.

The winners are:

1st: Anthony Masi, Trumbull High School
2nd: Jessica Schwartz, Westhill High School in Stamford
3rd: Julianne Reilly, New Canaan High School

"We want to congratulate the winners and thank all of the participants for taking the time to write such wonderful essays," said VolunteerSquare.com Executive Director Rachel Reese. "We are already looking forward to next year's contest."
