Schools & YMCA Open Back Up, Our Town Auditions, Planning & Zoning

It looks like the weather for the week in New Canaan kicks off in the low 80s and hovers around there for the duration. Thunderstorms are predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday, though the rest of the week looks clear of rain.

On Monday, New Canaan schools are back in session! Get a good night's sleep, kiddies! Also opening back up is the New Canaan YMCA, after closing for a week for annual renovations and general sprucing up.

At the New Canaan Library, Movie Mondays is currently the only event scheduled, with a showing of What Maise Knew at 4 p.m.

In local government, there's a special Planning & Zoning Commission meeting at 6 p.m. at the New Canaan Nature Center on Tuesday, followed by a regularly-scheduled meeting at 7 p.m.

The Town Players of New Canaan are holding auditions Monday and Tuesday for their production of Our Town, which opens October 25 for the group's 67th season.
