Hey New Canaan, your weather outlook hovers in the low 80s through the weekend. Isolated thunderstorms are scheduled to make an appearance on both Saturday and Sunday, so make sure you've got your umbrella with you.
The New Canaan Library will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. The DMV will close Friday at 12:30 p.m. for the duration as well, reopening Tuesday, September 2.
On Friday at 4 p.m., there's an Ice Cream Social at the Village Critter Outfitter hosted by Swirl. Bring your pet and get a frozen treat for both of you at a special price until 6 p.m.
Practice for New Canaan Youth Football Cheerleaders begins Friday. Football jamborees are also going to be hosted over the weekend for all grade levels. Check out the schedule here.
