In case you missed a day, here's a quick roundup of all the lead stories from Stamford this week. There's always a lot going on, so take this opportunity to catch up if you missed something!

It was a busy week for police, as they kicked off the week asking for the public's assistance in tracking down leads on an individual who is apparently intentionally cutting the heads off animals and leaving them at residences around town, handed out safety tips for Halloween night and announced they'd be offering free glow bracelets for kids out walking, promoted two officers to Captain this week and arrested a man for sexually assaulting a teen employee of a frozen yogurt establishment

In community news, the New Canaan Library is getting ready to demolish a home on the corner of Maple Street and South Avenue to convert the space, for the near future, into a park and, in the long term, accommodate their plans for an eventual new library and we met a New Canaan filmmaker looking to crowdfund a documentary on men battling breast cancer

In political news, Rep. Tom O'Dea submitted a Letter to the Editor endorsing the New Canaan Republican ticket prior to the November 5 elections.
