In case you missed a day, here's a quick roundup of all the lead stories from New Canaan this week. There's always a lot going on, so take this opportunity to catch up if you missed something!

A Silver Hill Hospital patient went missing the same night New Canaan Planning & Zoning voted against their expansion plans. The missing patient forced police to put residents on lock-down in the immediate area. The man was found the next day in New York. A jewelry store on Elm Street was also the target of a smash-and-grab forcible burglary. New Canaan authorities released images of the suspects the following day. And a woman allegedly caught driving while using a cellphone led to charges of driving under the influence.

Elections were held this week. First Selectman Robert Mallozzi III, running unopposed, was voted in for a second term. Check out the full list of election results here.
